Additional staff hit the ground running

Roadsafe Taranaki welcomed two additional Road Safety Advisors to the team in April. Zoe Boyle and Suz Cowley both have a background in supporting youth and are looking forward to working with and in the community to help reduce deaths & serious injuries on our roads.

Suz has a focus on New Plymouth road safety issues so is based at the New Plymouth District Council offices.  Suz works 30 hours per week and can be contacted on suz.cowley@roadsafetaranaki.nz.  Suz has already used her amazing people skills at the Taranaki Baby Expo and is currently working with Taranaki Disability Centre in New Plymouth to organise some mobility scooter educational training days.

Zoe works 15 hours per week during the school term and has a focus on schools and young road users. Zoe can be contacted on zoe.boyle@roadsafetaranaki.nz.  Zoe has linked up with schools to schedule cycle skills in South Taranaki and Stratford, delivered high visibility vests to schools with rural bus students and is currently working with secondary schools to bring RYDA (Year 12) and Ready2Drive (Year 11) educational programmes to the students.
