07 Oct 2020 Advanced Driving Course for young or inexperienced drivers
The Roadsafe Taranaki Driving course will be held at the Egmont (Hawera) A & P showgrounds on 7th & 8th March 2020. The course is aimed at young or inexperienced drivers with maximum space for 70 people per day.
It is free for current drivers license holders (International license holders are welcome). The course will take around 2 hours in total per person, first available time is 9am and the last is 3.30pm
Bookings will open in February 2020.
The course will include:
- 2 different practical driving courses (focus on emergency braking and cornering),
- questionnaires,
- interactive activities,
- road safety video,
- resources for learner and restricted drivers,
- discussion opportunities with NZ Police and local driving instructors.
