South Taranaki, New Plymouth and Stratford mayors want people to have a fun and happy Christmas/holiday period and all get home safely after every outing.
I always put my seatbelt on – In 2019 4 people that died on Taranaki roads were not wearing their seatbelt.
I actively avoid distractions – Plan your trip, make phone calls when you stop, concentrate on driving.
I always ensure I am well rested – We are providing fatigue stops over Taranaki in January, look out for them and take a break.
